The Imperial Ice Stars Peter Pan On Ice
In terms of facts and figures, our interpretation of Peter Pan on Ice has been created over a six week period, involving rehearsal six days a week for up to 11 hours a day. In search of exciting new elements (by that I mean lifts, jumps, spins)the boys and girls have suffered broken bones, stitches.muscle damage, ligament damage and dislocations. If that all sounds horrendous, it is! But unfortunately it goes with the territory of pushing the boundaries and seeking something new that will bring audiences to the edge of their seat, as we set out to enthral and entertain and also to remain the best in the world at what we do.
Creating something as new and exciting as our interpretation of Peter Pan on Ice is never down to one person. I am always happy to receive the plaudits - it is great for the ego!-but the simple truth is that it is always down to teamwork and I have a great team around me, The Imperial lce Stars and their productions have always been about a group of people working together, on-stage, off-stage, in the offices, in fact anywhere that ideas can be shared, discussed and finally brought to life.... and for that I thank loudly everyone who has been involved in bringing this telling of J. M, Barrie's timeless story to life. I have a feeling and a hope that we will surprise and please you once again.
